Scalloped rattan bread and buffet baskets are shallow baskets with rims cut into deep scallops or petals, so the contents sit above the edge and stay visible on a buffet line. The five references include a tall round basket, a matching pair of round and oval baskets, a petal-edged bowl and a wide shell-shaped bowl, all in natural rattan. Line one with a cloth napkin for bread service, or use it unlined for whole fruit, pastries and packaged items.
Water hyacinth fruit bowls are braided in water hyacinth rope with a soft wave cut around the rim. One is a wide shallow dish and the other is a deeper bowl.
